Sky Betting & Gaming will become the headline sponsor of the upcoming Summer Spring Series that will take place at the Royal Windsor Racecourse, officials for Arena Racing Company and the racecourse held today.

The SkyBet Summer Sprint Series will include nine qualifying races run over five and six furlongs. Each of them will be worth at least £10,000. The Sky Bet Summer Sprint Series Final will take place over six furlongs on Monday 15 August and will be worth £75,000 in total.

Arena Racing Company Head of Partnerships David Leyden Dunbar commented that they were very glad to welcome the gambling operator on board and told how great it is to work together in the upcoming issue. He also noted their strong relationships, as SkyBet is also a sponsor at Doncaster.

Stuart Dorn, Royal Windsor Racecourse Executive director, thanked SkyBet for the decision to become the headline sponsor of the new Summer Sprint Series, as the new series represents “a real uplift” in the program of the racecourse.

Racing PR Manager for SkyBet Michael Shinners expressed his delight with the chance to sponsor at the Royal Windsor Racecourse and told how eagerly he waits for the new SkyBet Summer Sprint Series. He also added that Monday night racing events at this very racecourse are extremely popular among their customers.

May 9 is the beginning of the qualifying race at the Royal Windsor Racecourse.

Online gambling operator SkyBet has also become an Authorized Betting Partner to the British horse racing industry. They made a 3-year deal with British Horseracing Authority. The agreement starts working on April 1 and due to it, SkyBet would contribute a portion of the revenue received from online racing bets during the following 3 years. The operator will be granted with some benefits, comprising exposure at major racecourse across the UK for its help to the British horse racing industry.
