A Casino Will Appear in Wasaga Beach

A nonstop expansion plan of Gateway Casinos involves further expansion in the gambling market of Canada. The company has planned the construction of a new facility at Wasaga Beach.

After several months of rumors and disputes, worries and protests, finally, a place has been determined where a new casino will be built on the Wasaga Beach. A gambling establishment will be built in a wasteland adjacent to a roundabout on Mosley Street in the western part of the city.

The Wasaga Beach resort was chosen by the company in March 2018 as the site for a new casino. It is assumed that 150 jobs will be created at this facility. It is expected that construction will begin this spring, and the institution will accept the first players in the spring of next year. The project involves the construction of a building on the territory of 3 hectares in the western part of Wasaga Beach. However, to speed up the implementation, it will be necessary to obtain the approval of the province and the municipality, as well as complete the purchase of land in a short time.
